People don't read the liner notes anymore. But if they did they would discover something new. Something educational and radical. This mixtape was in part inspired by working with a man I'm proud to consider a comrade and a mentor. A true champion and solider of the Black arts by the name of Ron Himes. If people read the electronic liner notes they'll see this. In fact I feel like a thousand years from now when some college kid is studying Covid they'll read this. Let the record show Black people were still very much the cultural jewel of the society. Through Ron and his wife Heather I was blessed enough to act in a Black Rep Theatre production.This triggered my writing ability, sparked my memory again, and got me back in alignment with my talent. It felt so good being back onstage every night. Then Covid happened and it was all over...lol

I like to give people a download of society through my flow. I also feel like I'm one of the best lyricists currently not adorned by mainstream rap, I make my money off the underground just like Ron and Himes and the Black Rep. I deeply depend on my listeners in order to eat. Sort of like Royce da 5'9 prior to his war path with the Bar Exam mixtape series. I made this track back when I thought the rona was going to completely end the fucking world.

Rather wrong or right thats the energy I wanted to give the listeners. I grew up listening to Pimp C and Wu Tang anad Twista so you can hear traces of both in my flow. I wanted the listener to feel like they were in the rain fighting a battalion of agents from the Matrix movies while they played this one.
